Carol is a survivor of suicide loss.

She started knitting prayer shawls with her church knitting group after her husband died by suicide. She wanted to find a way to comfort others who experienced this kind of traumatic loss and to let them know that they are never alone and that they are loved. The shawl is like an arm around survivors-a caring hug of yarn and love created by a special group of local knitters.
